China Development Bank interested in investing in Romania

China Development Bank is keen to invest in Romania and is willing to provide financial support for projects run on the local market by Chinese IT&C companies, the Ministry of Communications stated, yesterday, quoted by Mediafax.

The minister of Communications, Valerian Vreme, had a meeting in Beijing, on January 12, with representatives of the China Development Bank.

During the meeting, Vreme presented the opportunities afforded by the IT& communications industry in Romania. Thus, important projects to help develop the electronic communications infrastructure and services related to the information society may be funded, under the provisions of Law 178/ 2010 regarding public-private partnerships.
